healing from within

Kris’s transition into the world of holistic wellness was catalyzed by her own long and layered health journey. After the early loss of her father from cancer and more than a decade on anti-depressants, she realized that the medications she relied on were only masking symptoms rather than addressing the root causes of her distress. At age 38, she chose to discontinue the prescriptions and committed herself to uncovering the deeper imbalances contributing to her low energy, chronic inflammation, gastrointestinal distress, multiple food sensitivities, and weakened immunity. Over the years, she identified a history of mono, undiagnosed gluten sensitivity (which all three of her children also have), Lyme disease, unresolved stress, and the physiological impact of a long-term standard American diet as key contributors to her body’s state of disease.

What began as personal trial and error evolved into a formal and comprehensive training path. Kris became a Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City and continued her education by studying energetic and subconscious-level healing. She earned advanced certifications as a Level-3 Discover Healing Coach, including Emotion Code®, Body Code®, and Belief Code® with Dr. Bradley Nelson through Discover Healing. Since 2021, she has integrated these modalities into her coaching practice, helping clients, family, and friends identify energetic imbalances and restore harmony within the body.

Today, Kris brings a rare combination of lived experience, rigorous training, and heartfelt compassion to her work at Body Into Balance Wellness. Her mission is to guide others on their healing journeys by helping them uncover the hidden energetic drivers of their symptoms, release what no longer serves them, and support the body’s innate ability to return to balance.

In addition to being passionate about wellness, Kris loves spending time in Michigan and on Cape Cod with family and friends, marveling in the beauty of nature, playing pickleball, reading, entertaining, decorating and puzzling.

“Before you heal someone, ask him if he's willing to give up the things that make him sick.”
